Very few expected this – the Gunners won despite the Catalonians taking an early lead, displaying perseverance so far typical of German teams. A superb game by Szczęsny who saved his team from the onslaught on several occasions. The supporters sang to the tune of “La Donna e mobile” their own lyrics “We have Cesc Fabregas” which paradoxically soon turned out to be a bad prophecy. By the way, I have not understood as of yet, why he is considered a great footballer.
